Dining options, a small supermarket and a playground are all within ten minutes away. From Wienrode it is easy to reach many sights and attractions, such as Wernigerode Castle, the Baroque Gardens in Blankenburg, Halberstadt Cathedral and the Hexentanzplatz plateau in Thale, as well as the Brocken – at 1142 m, the highest mountain in the Harz. The Rübeländer Tropfsteinhöhlen caverns are definitely worth a visit as well.
