Cosy, renovated chalet in the wild, all for yourself
The newly renovated and comfortable Unterhofer Alm is situated on the Pfaffenberg, on the sunny side of the Mölltal, located at an elevation of 1350 metres above sea level and set entirely off by itself, surrounded by the outdoors. It is reached via a wide paved road and the last 3 km are on a very good forest road, so you can drive all the way up to the cabin. There are 2 bedrooms that sleep up to 8 people in total, as well as a modern bathroom and a large open-plan kitchen with a woodstove and a sitting area that offers plenty of room for your group to socialise. The woodstove is used for cooking and the hot water is also heated by wood. The wood is provided free of charge. There is also a gas cooker for you to use. Electricity is paid for directly on site (with a coin meter for prepayment); ordinary power consumption is between 20 and 30 euros per week. A relaxing holiday is waiting for you here, combining an authentic alpine feel with plenty of comfort. Outside you will find a grill hut, a terrace, garden furniture and a covered grilling area, all surrounded by beautiful mountain meadows. The panoramic setting high above the valley offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains in the Reisseck massif, as well as family-friendly hiking loops that lead to beautiful overlooks, clear mountain lakes and impressive waterfalls in the national park’s nature preserve. The landlord also offers products from his own farm.
