Cosy fisherman’s house, ideally located for coastal walking and cycling tours
This fisherman’s house is located in the seaside resort of De Haan. This (small) town is situated on the Belgian coast and is well-known for its authenticity and architecture. The holiday home is about 2 km from the sea. The house features an enclosed garden, where you’ll find a beach wagon. Perfect for trips to the beach with young children. The house is set in an area that’s ideal for nice walking and cycling tours. There is a coastal walkway which will take you along dunes and polders, mudflats and salt marshes, the sea and the beach. There are also some windmills in the vicinity, which are open for visitors. The towns of Ostend, Bruges and Knokke-Heist are all nearby. Bruges is popular for its canal tours through the beautiful town centre with many romantic bridges and for the chocolate museum. You can enjoy a nice ‘Brugse Zot’ in the beer museum. In Ostend, you’ll find the North Sea Aquarium with about sixty different types of sea animals. If you take a ride on the coastal tram, which runs from Knokke-Heist to De Panne, you can visit several seaside resorts on the way. And amusement park Plopsaland is located in De Panne as well. It’s a 35-minute car ride from De Haan.
