Cottage in the nature of the Parc Régional du Luberon
This holiday home is situated in the middle of nature at the Parc Régional du Luberon, a unique location. For two centuries, it previously served as a "cabanon" (French for "mountain lodge") and was transformed into a charming holiday home in 2004. You’ll have all the privacy you’ll want and it is wonderfully quiet (the road is only audible outside and even then, just barely so). The interior is quite special, cleanly decorated and uncluttered, with unique details. You’re sure to notice the lovely mosaic tiles. The extensive surrounding terrain remains in its natural state and there is plenty of space for the kids to play (a swing and a ping pong table and volley-ball are available) or build exciting huts in the woods. There’s also access to a private pool so you can keep cool. The terrace has a dining table and a stone BBQ with a sink. The local environment is just as extraordinary. Don’t forget your hiking boots or mountain bike because you can take the most beautiful trips through the Luberon landscape and purple-coloured lavender fields from your holiday home. A nice, quick trip will take you to Montfuron (5 km), which boasts one of the few, still-functioning Provençal windmills and a quaint 12th century church. Pay a visit the medieval Forcalquier (17 km) and the charming Apt (28 km), too. Particularly impressive is the Gorges du Verdon nature reserve (60 km). You can go swimming, canoeing, and rafting in the Durance river (about 27 km).
