Op de Beemd
Charming holiday home with 2 bathrooms and garden on a dairy farm
At the end of a cul-de-sac, at the edge of the forest, you’ll find this wonderful house at the dairy farm of the Stroeken family, in the town of Zeeland, Brabant. The house is very nicely furnished, with many typically Dutch details; you’ll discover something new every time. The house has two bathrooms and the bedrooms are equipped with wonderful box-spring beds. You’ll also have your own garden and terrace with a view of the fields at your disposal. During the summer, there’s there’s enough to do for the children on and around the farm. There’s a small farm store and a small-scale campsite with tents during the summer; this way the children will make friends quickly here. The holiday home is situated in a separate area though, so that your peace and privacy are guaranteed. In this rural area you will enjoy peace and quiet; you can walk straight into the woods from the farm. This rural area is ideal for cycling and hiking tours. The Maashorst is highly recommended; it’s a unique nature reserve where groundwater comes to the surface through faults. The house has a good kitchen, but if you want to eat out, you can find several nice restaurants and shops in nearby Uden. Or you could visit Grave, an old town by the Meuse river. The beautiful city of Den Bosch is of course also worth a visit. And the Efteling is less than an hour by car away. If you like fighter jets, Volkel air base is nearby. But rest assured, they don’t fly in the evenings or weekends, so they won’t bother you.
