You’ll find the Lot et Garonne region in the south-west of France. The region is famous for its many old villages and 1,000 lakes. But also for foie gras, wines, plums, honey, fruit and vegetables. There are plenty of medieval villages and ‘bastides’ to visit, including Pujols, Penne d’Agenais and Monflanquin. Your villa is set in 2.5-ha grounds surrounded by the rolling hills. From your terrace you can enjoy the views, the large garden with heated pool and the peace and quiet that this place offers. The house is very spacious and consists of a living area which incorporates a large lounge/dining area and a big, open kitchen. Adjacent to it, you’ll find a sleeping area with 4 spacious bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The fact that all the rooms are on the same floor make this accommodation also suitable for guests with reduced mobility. The owners lives within the same grounds, but respects your privacy. Should you have any questions though, they’d be happy to help. There are daily festivities and markets here during the summer months – don’t miss the opportunity to visit one of the many food markets in the evening, which often have live music, too. Guests who are interested in castles are also in the right place here, there are plenty to discover, among which the largest fortified castle in Europe: Chateau de Bonaguil.
