Maison de la Cosnadière
Beautifully refurbished, authentic home in a quiet village bordering the coast
At first glance you enter a traditional, quiet French village when you take the exit to Saint-Rémy-des-Landes. The house is part of a row of authentic stone houses. However, if you open the door, you step into everything that modern times have to offer. The French house owner, together with his parents of nothing, made something great. It has taken a lot of time for years, but it has been worth it and you can judge for yourself. The house is surprisingly spacious. As you enter through the front door, you step into the large kitchen. On the right is the dining room, with TV, from where you have a direct view to the living area with a nice sitting area and another TV. You also enter the garden through this room. On the two upper floors there are four good bedrooms and a bathroom. In the immediate vicinity you can walk to the beach in no time. Charming villages like Portbail and Barneville-Carteret are located in the region. Cherbourg can be reached in 45 minutes by car, the D-Day beaches in less than an hour and the tourist Mont Saint-Michel in one and a half hours. In short, this part of France has a huge variety.
