La Vallée des Daims
Lovely holiday residence located in the heart of the Ardennes.
Peacefully located on a dead-end street in the heights of La Roche-en-Ardenne, beautiful villa with stunning view of the forested surroundings. The villa boasts three spacious bedrooms and offers room for up to 8 people. The kitchen is completely modern and features contemporary equipment. There is a recreation room in the basement with table football and a billiards table. The garden is completely enclosed so that the children can play safely. The modern wood-burning stove provides the heat. The terraces face south and have a barbecue and garden furniture (chairs, tables, loungers). There are plenty of options for hikes through the forest near the home. The feudal castle of La Roche-en-Ardenne is well worth a visit. The castle was built between the 11th and 14th centuries on a site that had already been inhabited for some time. The French king Louis XIV conquered the castle on 10 August 1681. Abandoned by Emperor Joseph II, the castle fell into ruin and was stripped of all its usable materials by the residents of La Roche in the 19th century. This was demonstrated in the 20th century, by the excavation of prehistoric and Roman objects.
