Unique: wheelchair-friendly house and sauna on the border with Germany
What makes this house so unique? It’s the only house of this size in the eastern Ardennes where the whole ground floor has been made accessible for wheelchair users. From the car you can enter this threshold-free house with a wheelchair. There is a bedroom with its own adapted toilet and shower, where a special wheelchair is available, so your own chair doesn’t get wet. The bedroom has a portable handgrip, making it easy to get in and out of bed. Does this make the house only suitable for wheelchair users? Not at all: completed in 2015, it meets all mod cons and even has a small infrared sauna, turning comfort into luxury. The house also has several televisions and DVD players and children can enjoy themselves in the garden’s playground. Naturally, a holiday isn’t only about the house, but also about the region. If you throw a stone from the garden, it ends up on the other side of the road in Germany. The area is a perfect mix between the Ardennes and the Eifel. There are many special cycling paths and the picturesque Monschau is less than 10 kilometres away. Please note! Wi-Fi free with a maximum of 500 mb per week!
