You’ll share the swimming pool with the owner and her possible guests. The house has many well-preserved and beautifully restored details, is nice and cool in the summer and can be heated well during colder periods. It’s furnished in a modern way with a well-equipped kitchen, a fresh bathroom and good beds in the bedroom. You’ll have an entrance both from the farmhouse courtyard and from the garden; from your own terrace you can look straight into your own part of the garden. In the garden with lots of fruit and walnut trees, you’ll find various seating areas where you can read, dine and enjoy the natural surroundings, the sun and the sounds of the crickets and birds. There are lots of things to do in the area. You can go hiking and cycling directly from your house, and at just 10 km you’ll find the pleasant village of Montignac with its many restaurants, shops and of course the famous caves of Lascaux. On the Vézère river, which runs through Montignac, you can take beautiful canoeing trips. A little further away, you’ll find the beautiful Lac du Causse, a large lake with beaches, where you can also enjoy other water sports. The historic town of Sarlat-la-Canéda can be found at 21 km and is certainly worth a visit! The house has an open staircase to the bedroom, and so it’s less suitable for toddlers.
