This chic and comfortable cottage is a detached outbuilding from the Heidweiler Mill. The mill is first mentioned in 1442 and is registered as a cultural monument. It offers a peaceful oasis in the middle of the Meulenwald forest (which was nominated as forest area of 2012). In every season, you can experience pure nature and local culture here. The common ground is approximately 20,000 square meters consisting of forest, lawn and barbecue area, private ponds, and is all well maintained. At several idyllic spots you can relax and forget everyday life. In Heidweiler itself are worth seeing the parish church of St. Vincent, the old vicarage, the holy house and the Gerber house and the village wash house at Bender Bach. Also well preserved is a historic beet washing area. The commander Scheider observation tower offers a wonderful view over the Meulenwald and the Eifel landscape.
