Very authentic Ardennes house, also bookable with BE-6850-14
Grand Paliseul is a link-detached house where everything reflects the authentic character of times past. This is partly due to the construction of the house itself, with lots of natural stone and wood, and partly due to the care that the owner has taken in designing the interior to match this style. There are woodstoves in the living and dining room and a coal stove in the kitchen. The furnishings radiate the same traditional ambience, giving you the sense that you’ve travelled back in time. Except that everything has been newly updated. Because there is a contemporary kitchen of course, as well as central heating, a digital flat-screen cable TV and WiFi. There is a small south-facing terrace next to the accommodation and if you cross the driveway of BE-6850-14 you will find a garden, part of which is private and part of which is shared and contains a swing. Behind the garden, a group of horses will come welcome you. There is also a shared storage area for bicycles, with a washing machine and dryer. The Belgian town of Bouillon and the French town of Sedan are within easy reach. Since they are situated side by side, this holiday home can easily be combined with BE-6850-14, creating an accommodation for 18 people.
