De vroolijke Jager
Lovely wooden cabin set in 0.5ha private grounds in a unique nature reserve
Wake up in the middle of the forest! When you open your curtains, you’ll see the trees of the De Pan nature reserve right outside your window. Enjoy this magnificent natural area. The combination of dry and wet grounds make for a unique landscape. A flock of sheep grazes on the heath and you can spot deer, hares and rabbits as well. The marshlands host lots of insects. And there are many different kinds of birds – all in all, this beautiful area has plenty to offer. The little, cheery wooden house you’ll be staying at, gives off the impression that you find yourself in a fairytale. And, maybe that is a little bit true. Because where else in the Netherlands can you find such an unspoilt area of nature all to yourself. The half a hectare of woods surrounding the house are private land, which belongs to your house. Don’t expect luxury and design here. There’s no TV. But if you’re looking for a place where you can get up at the crack of dawn, have a quick shower in the en-suite bathroom, enjoy a fresh cup of tea with breakfast and then spend your time exploring the outdoors? Then this is the place for you! When you return home after an active day out, you can make yourself comfortable on the sofa with a good book and a glass of wine. Or sit down on the terrace to watch the birds and the stars. Don’t fancy cooking? The towns of Weert and Eindhoven are nearby and offer a wide range of nice bars and restaurants.
