Typical Norman farmhouse with free WiFi, a short drive from the coast
Spacious and well-maintained farmhouse built in a 19th-century home. Looking for an escape from traffic and the daily grind? You’ve come to the right place. This holiday home radiates a nostalgic ambience and is surrounded by a flowery 5000m2 garden with lovely trees and an orchard (pears, plums and cherries). Situated in the heart of the Coutances region about ten kilometres from the English Channel, you will find an oasis of tranquillity here. Ideal for hikes and bike rides through the hilly countryside so characteristic of this region. As you explore the area you will encounter picturesque hamlets and little villages with clock towers and cathedrals dating back to the Middle Ages. The coast is also just a half-hour’s drive away if you fancy a refreshing dip in the sea. Golfers will be in their element here, there are tennis courts and you can even go horseback riding. There is something for anglers too – you can fish in a number of select areas in the Cotentin marshes.
