Artistic 6-10-people villa in picturesque village near Denia, bar, tap, swimming pool, terraces
Villadelarte 6-10 person villa in Benidoleig, a picturesque village 8km from Denia. The villa offers views of the sea, mountains and orange orchards in the valley. Built almost 200 years ago by a Frenchman who was the first person to supply the village with water. The villa consists of 5 bedrooms, 3 of which have en-suite bathrooms. There’s a large living room with dining room and a fully equipped, rural kitchen. You’ll find a microwave oven, dishwasher, citrus press, toaster, coffee machine, as well as plates and cutlery for 16 people. The walls of Villa del Arte are decorated with a large collection of art, which is for sale. There’s an outdoor swimming pool of 6×15 metres with an outdoor bar including beer tap. Casks of beer (30 or 50 litres) can be ordered in advance. There’s a large garden with lemon and laurel trees. The surroundings offer some stunning walking and cycling routes. The information folder in the house provides you with more tips. The Benidoleig caves for example, are worth a visit. Denia, with its vibrant centre, shops and nightlife, is a 15-minute drive away. It hosts a pleasant marina with some nice outdoor cafes. And plenty of galleries for the art lovers. There’s a castle in the centre of Denia, which has an underground tunnel that leads down to the sea. There’s a large market next to the courthouse on Mondays, and this is also where you can catch the bus to Valencia or Alicante. A day trip to Ibiza is also worthwhile – it takes 3 hours by ferry to reach the island.
