Cosily furnished apartment in St. Andreasberg with large balcony
At 600m above sea level, St. Andreasberg is the highest town in the Harz and located 24 km north of Bad Sachsa. The cosy apartment is on the 1st floor of a small residential unit in a quiet hillside location in town. The officially recognised health resort with its healthy mountain air is part of the National Park and surrounded by wooded hills. The house lies nestled amidst lots of greenery, an ideal place for hiking through the landscape. The large, covered balcony faces south-west and you can sit back and enjoy the view or start the day with a nice breakfast. Recommendations: Nordic walking, the summer toboggan run or visiting the Samson Mine, a former silver mine with the oldest, still operating man engine and an interesting mining museum. In the winter, numerous slopes for skiing and tobogganing, chairlifts and ski tows, sunny slopes for downhill skiing at 850m altitude guarantee pure skiing fun. Excursions into the surrounding area: A ride on the narrow gauge railway, the Rübeländer Caves, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Goslar.
