Bright and nicely furnished flat in the Harz with a large, covered balcony
This bright and cosily furnished apartment is located in a house with 5 accommodation units on a hillside location in Sankt Andreasberg. At 600 to 900 metres in altitude, it is the highest town in the Upper Harz. The health resort, with its healthy mountain air, is surrounded by wooded mountain slopes. Gaze at the surrounding hills from the covered balcony and enjoy the south-west location. A parking space and ski storage is also available. Among the sights in town are the Samson Mine with the last original and functional "Fahrkunst" (man engine) in the world and an interesting mining museum with the mining technology of the 18th and 19th century. In the summer many well-marked hiking trails invite you to explore the nature of the area. In the winter, kilometres of cross-country skiing trails, many slopes for skiing and tobogganing, chairlifts and ski tows, and sunny slopes for downhill skiing at 850m altitude guarantee pure skiing fun. But excursions in the area are also appealing: A ride on the narrow-gauge railway, Rübeländer Caves, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Goslar.
