Beautiful and cozy, completely renovated farmhouse, partly wheelchair friendly
Great care has transformed the old building into a modern holiday home for groups. Much of what you find here is therefore brand new, such as almost all the plumbing. But where possible the original character has been preserved. Not only that, it has been accentuated! How? For example, by turning a former gas tank into a wood-burning stove that is centrally located in the spacious living/dining room, where you can enjoy sitting around with the whole group on cold days. Likewise, the open staircase to the gallery level is made of the same kind of wood that was used in the original walls. The bedroom/bathroom combination on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. Both the bed and the shower and WC are equipped with side rails and lifting pole. Meyerode is a hamlet that lies roughly between Amel and St. Vith. This location in the southeast of Belgium means you can not only enjoy all the beauty of Belgium, but also soon find yourself in Germany and Luxembourg.
